 In the familiar red dunes of the Kalahari in eastern Namibia, Kalahari Anib Lodge is like a plush green oasis. The restaurant and chalets are arranged around a shaded courtyard with a large swimming pool. There are 28 rooms available for tour groups and 9 rooms for individual travellers.
Located about 30 km northeast of Mariental, the lodge can be used as an ideal stopover on the way south. Take a drive through Gondwana Kalahari Park at sunrise or around sunset, spend time watching vultures and marabou storks at the feeding place for carrion birds, or explore the Kalahari on foot, following one of the lodges hiking trails.
